My story
I am an Episcopal priest serving as rector at St. Peter's by-the-Lake Episcopal Church in Brandon, Mississippi.
I joined the Episcopal Church over 20 years ago after a very powerful and moving encounter with God. Writing has always been a passion for me, so shortly after my 'conversion experience,' I began writing daily devotional material.
In 2006, I moved to New Haven, Connecticut to attend seminary at Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University. I graduated in 2009, and the Mississippi bishop assigned me initially to be Episcopal chaplain at Mississippi State University. I served there for about four and a half years before being called to St. Peter's, the church where I first began seriously seeking God.
